Niyyah Path provides a facilitated introduction service for Muslim adults seeking marriage in a halal, respectful environment.

By applying for membership or attending any retreat or event, you agree to the following terms.

Nature of the Service

  • Niyyah Path is not a dating service

  • Attendance does not guarantee a match

  • All introductions are based on mutual consent

  • Final decisions rest with participants and their families

Eligibility

Participants must:

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Be legally and Islamically eligible to marry

  • Provide accurate and truthful information

Behaviour & Conduct

Participants agree to:

  • Follow Islamic etiquette and modest conduct

  • Respect personal boundaries

  • Avoid private or unsupervised interactions

  • Follow instructions from organisers and staff

Any breach of conduct may result in removal from the event or retreat without refund.


Safeguarding & Background Checks (UK)

Background Checks

  • DBS checks are optional and voluntary

  • They may be suggested only after mutual interest

  • Niyyah Path does not collect, store, or retain DBS results

Limitation of Liability

Niyyah Path is not responsible for:

  • Personal decisions made following introductions

  • Outcomes involving family involvement

  • Disputes occurring outside organised activities


Background Checks (UK – Additional Information)

In some cases, families or walis may request additional reassurance before proceeding.

Where lawful and appropriate, participants may choose to complete a basic DBS check after mutual interest has been established.

Please note:

  • DBS checks are entirely voluntary

  • They are conducted via independent third-party providers

  • Niyyah Path does not collect or retain DBS certificates

  • Results are shared only with consent

DBS checks are not used to judge character, but to support informed, family-led decision-making.
